A less intrusive alternative to electronic bracelets or on site police monitoring, this app informs the police and health officials if a quarantined person (QP) leaves the quarantine site. To ensure that the phone is not left at home while the QP goes out of the house, a random selfie request is sent to the phone. Alerts are sent when a QP turns off their phone, disconnects the internet or stops the app. Reminders for daily health checks are sent until the quarantine period is completed.

The best decision we made was in commissioning Platinum Technology Systems to develop for us a combined Student Management System and Learning Management System for our expansion in Vietnam. The Platinum team created a customized Learning Application System that is bilingual and which was modified to include our need for pre-qualification of applicants to English courses, various options for payments including variable installment payments and discounts, automated class creation depending on number of enrollees, linkages to external sites for English review lessons, timed and randomized examination questions, and many more.
We found Raj Prasad’s team to be friendly and responsive to our needs. The team completed work to agreed time frames, gave suggestions for improvements in our process and communicated well with our Vietnamese team even if all communications were only done via skype calls and emails.
We also found the software easier to use as compared with other LMS in the market.
As we grow our market in Vietnam, we will most definitely use more of LMS.
With the current global pandemic shutting down face to face instructions/classes, we needed a solutions provider to help us innovate learning management systems (LMS) that will fully function without internet connection for both our teachers and learners. Internet connection is either not available, too expensive, or unstable in most areas.
Platinum Technology Systems has met that challenge and we were able to successfully pilot test it. Our plan is to be able to fully implement it to all our public schools here in the province. We believe that the whole country will also benefit from Platinum's LMS.
